What We Help With
What to expect
Prior to your first appointment with ThamesPhysio you will be sent a Physiotherapy Consent and Health Questionnaire which you can print and complete and bring to your first appointment. If you do not have a printer the physiotherapist can bring the form to your first appointment.
Your appointment will start with a subjective assessment so your physiotherapist can understand what symptoms you now have and what happened to cause them to start. The physiotherapist will ask questions to best understand your situation and your expectations of treatment and outcomes aimed for. Following the subjective assessment the physiotherapist will ask you to perform some movements and carry out some physical tests.
She will then discuss the findings of the examination and suggest a treatment plan. Treatment will start if you are comfortable with the plan and consent to the treatments proposed.
Most people prefer a face to face appointment but virtual consultations can be offered and can provide an excellent way to review progress and continue exercise rehabilitation without the need to attend the surgery.
How to access treatment
To make an appointment complete the form, call 07813179825 or email victoria@thamesphysio.com.
We accept referrals from GPs, Consultants and other health care professionals, however, you do not need to be referred by a doctor to access treatment.
We accept selected health insurance claims and can settle directly with some companies, we have decided not to work with BUPA or AXA at this time.
